- What is Waxperts Academy Online?
Waxperts Academy Online is an immersive online experience that offers access to real life waxing treatments, on clients in real time. By allowing any beauty professional to take online courses and tutorials with the best waxing instructors.
Our instructors are not only superstar waxers, but they are extremely passionate about delivering excellence to waxers and clients alike. These courses are 100% exclusive – Waxperts Wax produces the tutorials and courses directly with the instructors to capture exactly what the instructors want to teach.
- Monthly Tutorial Course?
For: Beauty professionals who want a refresher on a different wax treatment each month. Each month will vary, which will deliver a whole range of clients, treatments and Waxperts Wax professional products used each and every month. Most suitable for certified Waxperts to refresh their skill level on an on-going basis. A new tutorial is uploaded on the 1st of every month.
Includes: Tutorial video, a downloadable ‘How To Guide’ and product listing.
Access: 30 day access to every lesson in that chosen tutorial curriculum.
Please note: When the new monthly content is uploaded on the 1st of every month, the previous months content is unavailable.
- Certified Course?
For: Beauty professionals are new to the Waxperts Wax range and want a full overview on the product range, advanced theory knowledge, a complete breakdown of how to wax multiple areas and ongoing support from a Waxperts Academy Online Instructor.
Includes: 2-4+ hours of video content which is split up into individual lesson videos. In addition to the lesson videos, each course has a PDF lecture downloads that you can use to supplement the videos. There are also quizzes and online case studies to be completed and uploaded to your instructor online for assessment. Successful students will receive a Waxperts Academy Online certificate on completion of course content, quizzes and case studies.
Access: You will have 1 year to complete any certified course from the enrolment date. Within that year, you can take the course at your own pace, so the number of days it takes to complete the course will vary.
IMPORTANT: Waxperts Academy Online will request a copy of each students basic waxing certificate/license on enrollment of this certified course. The materials on the Waxperts Academy Online website are suitable for qualified/licensed beauty professionals only. If your region/location requires you to hold a beauty qualification or license to carry out waxing treatments, then you must ensure that you hold the appropriate qualification/license before enrolling in any courses in this School.
- 30 Day Tutorial?
For: Beauty professionals who want on-going access to a specific wax treatment that they can look back on as many times as they like throughout a whole year. Most suitable for certified Waxperts to refresh and perfect their skill level.
Includes: Tutorial video(s), a downloadable 'Product Knowledge' and ‘How To Guide’.
Access: 30 day access to every lesson in that chosen tutorial curriculum.
- 1 Year Tutorial?
For: Beauty professionals who want on-going access to a specific wax treatment that they can look back on as many times as they like throughout a whole year. Most suitable for certified Waxperts to refresh and perfect their skill level.
Includes: Tutorial video(s), a downloadable 'Product Knowledge' and ‘How To Guide’.
Access: 365 day access to every lesson in that chosen tutorial curriculum.
- What does the enrollment fee include?
Monthly Tutorial: 30 day access to the lessons in that chosen tutorial curriculum. This a subscription which renews every 30 days.
Certified: 1 year access to every lesson in that chosen certified curriculum. It also includes case study correction, liaison with your instructor and certificate awarded on successful completion of course. If you do not complete in the 1 year time frame, the subscription will renew for another year and you will be charged.
Tutorial - 30 Day Access: 30 day access to the lessons in that chosen tutorial curriculum.
Tutorial - 1 Year Access: 1 year/365 day access to the lessons in that chosen tutorial curriculum.
- I already hold a waxing qualification, why should I enrol in the Waxperts Academy Online?
At Waxperts, we think it is so important for beauty professionals to invest in themselves and their own personal skill level. Our hope is to instill confidence, excitement and a passion for waxing in every waxer out there.
Over the years we have developed and honed our own ‘Waxperts Wax’ waxing techniques to use with the Waxperts Wax range to ensure that we give clients, a far superior and easier wax experience. We believe clients deserve the ‘treat’ to be put back into waxing treatment and we can show you how to achieve this. We aim to give every client a comfortable, enjoyable and super smooth wax every time.
All of our Waxperts Academy courses are designed to give new found confidence in your waxing ability, as well as learning tips and tricks to make waxing easier and enjoyable for you, and super smooth for your client.
- I’m not qualified in waxing, can I enrol in the Waxperts Academy Online?
No, unfortunately not.
The materials on the Waxperts Academy Online website are suitable for qualified/licensed beauty professionals only. If your region/location requires you to hold a beauty qualification or license to carry out waxing treatments, then you must ensure that you hold the appropriate qualification/license before enrolling in any courses in this School.
The content of the courses on the Waxperts Academy Online are to allow waxing professionals to improve and upskill on their existing waxing skills.
- Which topics are covered?
Once the course has publicly launched, the class curriculum will be available on the tutorial/course page. Scroll down to the 'Course Curriculum’ to see a description of each lesson in the class.
- What format do the courses take?
Waxperts Academy Online is an immersive online experience. The curriculum for each course is designed by the instructor. Each class includes extensive pre-recorded video content with additional learning materials.
- What type of device / browser do I need?
You can view classes on any internet-enabled device, on any modern browser.
- Is there homework with courses?
Tutorial Courses: No.
Certified Courses: Yes! There are online quizzes and case studies to be completed online and submitted to your instructor for assessment. Case studies must be submitted for the completion cert to be issued.
365 Day Tutorial: No.
- Can I download the videos?
No. There is no downloadable function for the video content on Waxperts Academy Online.
- Can I share my login with my team in salon or friends?
No. You are not permitted to share your login access with your team. Accounts that are shared are flagged with logins from different users with varying IP addresses. If this is the case, your account will be blocked and you will be banned from the online school permanently. If you want to share the content with your team, then you've have to watch it altogether with your login safely and securely. We do not recommend you share your login details, as this will lead to your account being blocked permanently and banned from future enrollments.
- Am I able to interact with my instructor?
Yes! Our instructors provide feedback to students in the comments section or by email. We may also partner with our instructors from time to time to host special live Q&A sessions and opportunities for student participation. We cannot guarantee live sessions, but will inform students if and as these opportunities become available.
- Do I have to complete the Certified Course within a specific time frame?
Yes! You must complete the course within 1 year from the enrolment date to achieve certification. Each certified course comes with a suggested timeline, but you can complete the course at your own pace within the 1 year access time. If you do not complete in 1 year time frame, you will fail the course.
Instructor Note: "We recommend that you aim to complete a certified course within a 3 month time frame. That will enable you to successfully pass the course, while giving you the other 9 months to access and recap on the content while you really perfect you new Waxperts skill level."
- What happens after I finish a Certified Course?
You will be certified on successful completion of the course. You can also interact with the community of other students to encourage each other to practice your craft in our comments section.
You also have the opportunity to become a registered Waxperts Salon by opening a professional account, which will enable you to purchase products from the Waxperts Wax Professional range.
- Where can I buy the products?

- Can I train in person with an educator?
Yes! We have the Waxperts Academy in Dun Laoghaire, Co.Dublin, Ireland where we offer beginner, conversion and advanced waxing courses. Please email [email protected] for more info.
- Can I cancel my subscription?
Sure! You control everything from payment details to course enrolment to course cancellation anytime from your own student account on www.waxpertsacademy.online
You can cancel your subscription/course enrolment at anytime through your student account online by following these steps:
- Click on your student account in the upper right hand corner of the screen
- Click Manage Subscriptions
- Click CANCEL on the course you no longer wish to be enrolled in.
NOTE: If a student cancels their subscription, they’ll automatically be unenrolled after their current billing cycle ends. If a student’s credit card/debit card fails for a recurring payment (e.g: payments for subscription or payment plans), then their payment will be re-tried on the 3rd, 8th, 15th days after the first attempt. If they do not update their billing information at that time, they will be automatically unenrolled from the course.

- What is your refund policy?
